Warranties Vs Returns
A warranty is a guarantee from the manufacturer that the product will perform as intended and be free from manufacturing defects for a specific period of time.
A return is when a customer requests to send back an unused item to iamRacketSports for a refund. This can happen for several reasons, such as receiving the wrong product or the customer deciding they no longer want the item. For more specifics on returns please read our return policy.
Who Provides the Warranty
All warranties are provided by the product manufacturer. IamRacketSports does not directly offer warranties on any branded item except its own iam branded products. The manufacture is responsible for resolving all warranty issues even if iamRacketSport initiates the claim on your behalf.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If an item becomes defective due to a manufacturing defect within the warranty period you will generally need to contact the manufacturer directly to initiate a claim. Please note damage from regular use, accidental damage, or modifications are typically not covered this typically includes paint chips and scratches.
For some manufacturers iamRacketSports will contact the manufacturer on your behalf.
What information will you need
Typically you will need to submit a copy of your original purchase invoice, photographs and a description of the issue.
